Pep Talk June 25

This is your friendly reminder to:

  1. Build a loving relationship with yourself — spend time alone, get to know the person you are … not the image or the persona you have for others. Focus on your strengths, not your quirks. Appreciate the value you bring to the world, without judgment or that feeling of falling short. Look yourself in the mirror and see the beautiful soul you are.

  2. Give yourself the gift of time — a short walk, a nap, 2 minutes in the closet; whatever you need every day to just breathe in, breathe out and be grateful for the time you have on this planet. Our days are finite but these small moments can add up to make a monumental difference in how we make the most of them.

  3. Resist the urge to “upgrade” because of others — you don’t have to look younger, dress hip, or go to exotic destinations just so you can fit in. Life shouldn’t become a never-ending version of high school. Leave the drama behind. You are enough just as is. Believe that. Love that. Live that.

Stay kind. Embrace the imperfections. There’s only one of you.
