Contrary to what was instilled in you as a child…you don’t have to make anyone else proud of you.

The only person that needs to know you tried your best is you.

The only person you ever need to work harder for is you.

The only person that knows you fully, completely, unequivocally is YOU … and you have done so much, you have accomplished a lot, you have overcome and you have prevailed.

You. All parts of you.

Life is demanding but you have shown up every day and kept at it.

So, please…be proud of yourself. Stand tall!

Kindness is a gift we give to ourselves first before we can share it with others.
