Digital Detox

21 days. No social media. Just presence.

What started as a digital detox during my vacation became a deeper reckoning with what truly matters.

Throughout our time in New Zealand, I handed out small watercolor tokens to strangers — 350 of them by journey's end.

When Trudy, a flight attendant, tearfully shared it was her first thank-you note in 38 years of service, I realized that these simple acts of connection might hold more value than any professional milestone I've achieved.

But now, as I step back into my routine, I find myself at a crossroads: the tension between conventional success and authentic impact.

Here I am, about to launch my book "Little Tokens of Love, Big Ripples of Happiness" — choosing an unconventional path. I've scaled back my online presence, closed my membership community, and challenged the narrative that success means constant growth, visibility, and monetization.

I share these thoughts briefly over here, but the full story — about motherhood, presence, and redefining success — deserves a deeper exploration.

Read my full reflection here.

As always, I maintain digital boundaries (you still won't find me on social media apps), but I'm deeply invested in meaningful dialogue. Leave a comment here on what "enough" means to you.

How do you protect space for what truly matters in your life? I'd love to hear from you.
